When Nintendo allow uncensored content and Sony don't... I see the internet exploding.

The Japanese players understandably aren't happy - and turning on the players who've always supported you, and censoring the games that have helped make the PS4 such a huge success is absolutely insane.

Can you expand on this? What do you mean? 

If Sony sensors Catherine, it gets a hard pass from me.

Favorite part of the original is its mature take on relationship woes and responsibility. Catherine was designed for mature audiences and the salacious content was justified as it was an extension of the narratives direct message.

As for the moral pseudo religious types, I seriously cannot fathom why they occupy their time with controlling how other adults spend their leisure time.

Considering that the Nintendo audience is hardly the type to buy these sort of games, how about no ? PC would arguably be a better bet than either of the other two console platforms since a demographic already exists those niche of a niche games ...

I'll credit you that it does suck that Sony's corporate culture has become about pandering to the social justice culture when it hurts Sony customers the most since their primarily the demographic to buy these games ...

They'll probably just censor Catherine if they do and be done with it all the while keeping Persona ... 

Nintendo censors stuff way more than Sony... not sure why they would move there if their issue is censorship...   also, I don’t really care if they censor stuff, doesn’t bother me at all.   Definitely not a part of games that means anything to me.

Nintendo currently does not censor Third Party Japanese Companies in Japan (which is what is the basis of this thread). Also since you do not care about that kind of stuff, this thread should not matter to you. 

Niche Japanese game didn't make the PS4 a succes. Big AAA games mainly targeted at the West which by the way don't have overly sexual content or gameplay on the verge of pedophilic tendecies did.

Sony is not censoring violence, but overly sexual content. I disagree that they are doing that, but nonetheless those games made a very small impact on PS4 is total sales. The biggest which could potentionally have seen censoring that I can think of is Nier Automata. At best the loss of these games would have caused 1.5 million PS4's sold less and that's probably giving those games way more credit than they deserve. 

I think you'd be really surprised. Shin Megami Tensei has been kept mostly Nintendo exclusive, while Persona has been mostly PlayStation. If 1 can find a home in one system, there's no reason the other can't. Especially because Persona Q sold very well on the 3DS,  and Persona Q2 is doing well in pre-orders and should do good numbers for a 3DS game in 2018. And Persona 5 is one of the more heavily requested 3rd party ports for the Switch (A may be a little bias towards this point because that's THE port I want the most.) It doesn't seem like the Nintendo audience has any problem at all with those sort of games, or at least that series, and would be more than willing to buy if the game looks great and really enjoyable (i.e. Octopath Traveler).

Even if what you say were true and the dedicated, die-hard Nintendo fans may not be into Persona games, Persona fans certainly are, and they'll go to whichever system has the game they want.
If Atlas decided to pack up the series and move it to Nintendo, the fans would go with them. If Persona 6 is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, most, if not all the people that bought a PS4 for Persona 5 are gonna buy a Switch for Persona 6, if they don't have one already.
It's like that old saying, one man's loss is another man's gain.
In that case, Sony's loss would be Nintendo's gain.

Such as? Nintendo has censored its own games and games it publishes (such as Bravely Default) for a long time, but they haven't curated third-party content since like the 1990s. And there's a big difference between Nintendo saying, "Let's change our own games for different markets" even though I still disagree with that, and Sony saying, "Let's tell third-party devs what they can and can't do regardless of the local ratings boards." Seriously, This is why PEGI and ESRB and all those exist. There's no need for Sony to police it further because there are systems in place already to police it.
