Astro Bot in "Dreams", thats cool.

90/100 on Metacritic. This Game is a blast ! :)

”Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

Harriet Tubman.

Best final boss ever imo. That final fight was pure joy, so clever. Word 5 end boss was amazing too, they all are and I generally despise boss fights! I got all the bots from all the worlds, yet still a lot of fun challenges to do and replaying will be a must. Hopefully it sells enough for a sequel.

I've done everything except most of the challenges, but man some of the levels were hard :D Trying to do boss fights without losing a life for the challenges is going to be a challenge.

Great game and I hope for a sequel.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Playing this game and VR (the good VR) is like playing Super Mario 64 for the first time and trying to convince people it's great but they don't think anything will ever be better than the SNES. "We like the d-pad", "The graphics are so crude", "There's been analog sticks before. Why should it catch on now?" It's just frustrating. Not because I want to force something on people. It's that they're missing out and they don't even know that they're missing out!

My free time is limited so I actually haven't beaten the game yet. I've just finished the second boss and ever session with this game just leaves me in awe. There was a level where I held my breath before going underwater. It was like my mind expected to get wet. It's crazy! God, I love this game. Sure, as time goes on, better experiences will come. There's something special about being here "in the beginning", though.

You're going to have a fun time in the whale level! The water is fantastic in this game.  Astro bot is like watching Spirited away for the first time. Pure magic.

Actually just played it an hour ago. And yes, I was blown away.

I played that level again today as a little break in between the challenges. Some are quite hard to get gold. The one where you use the rope that shoots out of the controller took me half an hour to beat. My wife finds it kinda creepy though when I stare at her with the headset on...

Couple more days to get all the remaining bots before RDR2 lands!

I completed everything in Astrobot and played some other VR games in my backlog before RDR2.

Currently I'm in the middle of Moss and it's amazing! Well crap! RDR2 is out tomorrow. I didn't think Moss would be as good after playing Astrobot, yet what Astrobot has in the innovative gameplay department, Moss has in atmosphere. Another 10/10 game so far.

I also played Sprint vector, 4/10. Glitchy move tracking and over complicated controls ruin it. It gave me a headache and almost made me fall over a couple times. The climbing mechanic is mostly broken with a 20% success rate of actually launching yourself up.

Light tracer, 7/10. Another 3rd person platformer where you guide the character with one move while adjusting the view and manipulating things with the other. Pretty decent, just not as polished as Astrobot and Moss. I'm only at the start of chapter 4, will finish it some day.

Psychonauts and the rombulus of ruin, 8/10. Double fine still has the magic and adventure games are very well suited to VR. The perspective shifts are very well done, lovely finale. Plus the music is awesome.

The inpatient, 6/10. Ugh I hate moving slowly. Decent story yet the scares are mostly cheap loud noises. That only slightly worked the first time, not the 50 times after that. It's pretty short as well. It has multiple playthrough possibilities like heavy rain, yet I did not find it interesting enough to play again. It's also the worst looking of the bunch I've played recently.
