Lord of the rings without a doubt. I have the theatrical cut on DVD and extended cut on Blu-ray, very much enjoyed the 11 hour extended cut and watched the whole extended cut again with commentary track.

Unfortunately the Hobbit trilogy sits at the bottom of that list.

Which cut is better? I've heard conflicting things. I am going to watch them for the "first time" (seen them before but was far too young and my attention span was fucked).

Good question, I think the first and especially the second film benefits a lot from the extended cut but don't watch them when you're already sleepy

Probably not all of them the best, by certainly my favourites:

Austin Powers

Can't believe I forgot Austin Powers. Great shout, even if the third one isn't that great.

Yeah...but it gave us English English scene:

The theatrical cuts are better paced and edited, but the extended cut contains plenty more great footage that helps round out the story. I think the theatrical cuts make for better first time viewing, then any fans should definitely check out the extended cut after.

Yeah that's maybe the best way to consume them the first time.

Star Wars original.

I can't believe you don't have Toy Story in your list. By far the best trilogy ever created.

Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy

Damn everyone saying LoTR. I just can't get into that franchise. Probably should rewatch them or try to.

I don't know but for sure John Wick is going to be mine when that third film comes out.

I envy you.

Damn feel bad bro. Don't think they're going to get thrown under the bus though. GotG makes too much money to mistreat it.

LoTR. Not even close for me.
