Forums - Politics Discussion - Are genital preferences transphobic?

To answer the original question - no, because sexual attraction has nothing to do with phobias.

For example, if a man is attracted to large breasts, but not small breasts, does that make him hypomammarialphobic? If a homosexual man is not attracted to a woman, does that make him heterophobic?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

No its not transphobic, we all have our preferences to what we feel attracted to and i do believe that it is a very biological thing or at least something that its very ingrained in our being and it cant be changed at a whim, you shouldnt be labeled as transphobic or as anything negative for simply being honest as to what you feel attracted to.

Also as personal note ive seen this trend of SJWs eating each other for not being as progressive as they are, i wish i remembered the other examples that ive seen but its not the first time ive seen this, in fact ive seen people make a comparison between the SJWs and the Ouroboros and i think its very appropriate.

Lol, this is just the far left version of the far right religious folks saying you're "wrong" for liking women (or men for liking men). I mean think about it, It is nothing but close-minded bigotry at the end of the day. Just like a far right religious homophobe would say you're somehow wrong for having a sexual preference to women, these social justice types also claim you're wrong for having preference to (cis) women (which you do not choose). You can't win lol.

But yeah, THEY are the bigoted ones, not you. Don't listen to those people - this attitude is close minded and quite frankly insane.

Yet another example of horseshoe theory in action, where the extremes of the political spectrum tend to be more similar than different..

There are some really horrific situations, where, for example, a man will pretend to be a woman, and be very convincing. They will date a man without him knowing that they are actually a man. Obviously, they will have to make that reveal for there to be any full-on sex involved, but if anything sexual happens (including just kissing), without the other person knowing what they're actually doing, that is SEXUAL ASSAULT!

You’re just seeing these movements for what they really are now but you still fight it. They are batshit insane, the basic premise is that you are not allowed to be an individual. Why can’t you like what you like without falling into specific guidelines? Why can’t you like something without being “anti” something else? I can see the internal battle you’re having trying to hold on to your collectivist nature. They do not represent lesbians in your eyes and you are right. But you also fight to hold onto the L in lgbt, this “movement cluster” that demands conformity and speaks for everyone. Just be yourself and nobody will care. I guess I would consider myself bi in the attraction category but I want nothing to do with that insane movement.

That's just taking it too far. We all have our preferences, that's part of who we are. It's when we start treating people bad because of their gender or skin colour or whatever that we've stepped into asshole territory.

Agreed.

This far left mentality (it's on the far right too of course but their voices don't dominate the narrative/mainstream media/society in general like the far left does today) seem to hold this tribal, collectivist mentality that shuns anyone who doesn't follow their increasingly narrow viewpoints. And on the far left in particular they like to boast about how they "fight for minorities" but at the same time go hard after women, blacks, gays, etc that don't tow the party line (hell even more hardcore than their long hated foe, the eeevil straight white man). Just look at how people like Ben Shapiro, Christina Hoff Summers, Candice Owens, Kanye West, Milo Y, Blaire White, Laci Green, Brandon Straka, Bret Weinstein, etc (the list goes on and on) get treated by these people. And the crazy thing is most of these aforementioned figures are quite intelligent, logical, and moderate in the traditional sense. Like, at what point must these people revoke their right to claim to fight on behalf of these groups when people are targeting, harassing, and shaming so many of said group?

You can claim to be on the side of the minority, but the smallest minority of all is the individual, and the modern left seems to be increasingly forgetting and becoming separated from this and moving towards the collective. This is why somehow like myself with Libertarian leanings is finding it harder and harder to be in the same camp as what I thought to be my side of the aisle. I'll never support a group that belittles and assassinates the character of the individual over the almighty and sacred "collective"

Well said. They are what they hate and I think that’s where OPs struggle comes from. She’s scared to post on a site that she feels she belongs too. That sums it up perfectly, it’s not tolerance. It’s something different, wrong and she can sense it. Props to OP for trying to find real answers.

"some women have penises"

Pfffthahahahahahahaha.

No. I define women as people who were born with two X chromosomes, not a single Y chromosome, and they're equipped with vaginas. 100% organic vaginas.

Sorry, everyone has their own definition of what makes a man a man and a woman a woman. The above is how I define a woman.

A vagina is not an accessory to be equipped with, but lol that gave me a laugh xD

You're most welcome.
