I have a feeling they are going to pull a DMC4 here. You play the first 33% as Ellie, then you play about 33% as Joel, Then you finish the game as Ellie. 

They touched up on that formula to a lesser extent with the full game, I could see them expanding on it in part 2. We know Joel is alive, and he plays just as major a role in the overarching franchise plot as Ellie. Do we really believe that he is just going to sit by idle and twiddle is thumbs while his "daughter" is out there on this quest for vengeance? 

He will play a major role in this one way or another.   What do you all think?  How big of a role do you think Joel will have in Ellie's next adventure in this post apocalyptic world?

But he isn’t, we seen him on the first trailer. I understand you’re probably not being serious here.

If I’m not mistaken that one character mentioned Ellie’s father getting more involved in their scavenging missions (or whatever they are), whenever its Ellie’s turn to go out. I’m gonna assume they’re talking about Joel.

I hope Joel still has a big role, It just wouldn't be the same without him.

I made a comment on N4G expressing this very thought, and figured it would make a decent topic.  Instead of typing the same crap out again, I simply copy and paste my own comment with a few adjustments to my wording to make it fit as the start of a thread.  In doing that, I guess it flagged my text as copied and made it look different, and prevented my topic from going up on the front page.

Pretty stupid of you ask me.  I get the purpose of it, to prevent people from copy and pasting articles from elsewhere, but in my case it is legit my own wording and topic.  This is just a case where mods try to fix one problem, but create others.  In the future I guess I will have to type stuff out twice due to this oversight and any other person who copies and pasted legitly will also be affected the same way.

Not hating on the mods, just annoying that this change is even a thing.

I think he believes, as I can totally understand and kind of believes too, that maybe Joel at that instance was a delusion of Ellie, as a means to cope with his death.I mean, its possible.

That's actually not the case at all. When you copy text from any webpage, it also copies formatting information such a background color, font size, bold text, etc. When you paste it in the rich text editor it gets transferred to the post you're making. Also, your thread does appear on the front page and in Hot Topics. I'll edit your OP for you to remove the background color.

I guess that makes sense, but it will not show up on MY phone in hot topics so I assumed it was the same for everyone.  Do threads that I make not show up for me anymore or possibly a glitch?

I apologize for jumping to conclusions then.  When I did not see my topic on the front page like they used to be, combined with the whole text color thing, I figured there was a new automated photocall in place.
