the stage design was stupid.

Yeah that's what happens when they have to change a working formula (Conferences) into a mix of miscellaneous formulas that don't mean anything anymore.

What is wrong with good old fashion conferences? Nothing. But now it's showcases, Treehouses, Keynotes and what have you not...

I guess their motto is why make it simple when it can be made complicated and confusing.

cant believe fallout is now a non single player, always online, co-op thingy.... *sigh*

Elder Scrolls - Blades is a town planner type game? where as you upgrade it you get quests in a endless dungeon? hmmm.... okay

The Elder scrolls VI saved the show imo.... that redeemed it.

Yeah, that really sucks. I had a suspicion with Fallout 4's (loathsome) base-building mechanics though, and their constant focus on re-releasing Skyrim on anything from consoles to windscreen wipers and their seeming focus on ESO, paired with the silence on Elder Scrolls 6. They're clearly shifting focus, just like Bioware have. If it's not a battle royale game, it's bound to be a looter shooter, this is most certainly not a new golden age of gaming as far as I'm concerned.

TE6 & New Doom, was the best things of the show.
The fallout direction is a kick to the balls (for people that like fallout as it is/was).
ESO is crap, they dont do MMO's well.... again this doesnt make me believe in a co-op focused always online fallout.

Without TE6 title pop-up towards the end there, this would have been a bad E3 for Bethesda.

Overall this is like a 6/10.
I think Microsofts conferance was better than this.

Easily the best E3 presentation so far and I don't think Sony or Nintendo will be able to top it.

I wonder with Elder Scrolls 6 seemingly so far away why not remaster Morrowind and Oblivion

Alot of people in this thread have scored it a 6/10.... which I personally agree with.
Imo without TES6 at the end, this would have been a "bad" E3 presentation.... its just barely saved from that status with it.

What makes you think this was the best presentation so far at E3?

The sheer amount of content that was revealed or teased was astounding to me, especially for Bethesda who is relatively new to E3 presentations.  I wasn't expecting much info at all on Starfield or Elder Scrolls VI and the fact that those games were officially acknowledged is enough to hold me over for a long time.  I hate playing shooters but I was impressed with the games in that genre that they did show.  Overall, they just showed better games.  That's what I care about and it's as simple as that.

I have a hunch that many people disliked their conference because they did not approve of innovative iterations of their favorite franchises such as card games, MMOs, online only games etc.

I can barely remember anything that happened in the lackluster presentations by EA and Microsoft.  Nothing they presented gave me chills, although I did think that Forza looked pretty cool.  I could give Sony the edge if they announce NEW rpgs.  Focusing on zombie and superhero games just won't do it for me.  If Nintendo announces ports of the first two Xenoblade games for Switch as well as new rpgs that seem to be quality I would give them the edge.  It would probably convince me to go out and buy a Switch.

Also, I accept 'ESO is crap, they don't do MMOs well' as a personal opinion but it's hardly an objective fact considering the awards they have won the last few years.

I ll admit thats why Im so putoff with Fallout 76...  I feel like they changed Fallout so much already from what it was with 1+2.
It going always-online co-op focused, isnt a good thing.  My intrest is really low for this game, mainly because of that.

Elder Scrolls - Blades, at first I was almost angry..... why isnt this just a mainline TES6 game? but after they also showed that (TES6), I calmed down and became more accepting of this thing being its own thing.  The idea of a Town Simulation game + dungeon crawler (with quests gained from City management) intrests me. Im willing to give this a try, and actually think it ll be a pretty decent game.

Doom is doom, a new one is a good thing.

Without TES6 at the end, my "impressions" of this E3 presentation would just have been me being slightly angry at ES-Blades, and dissapointed in Fallout 76.

I would have preferred typical Fallout or Elder Scrolls games too.  Personally, I wasn't expecting anything Fallout for a while so 76 doesn't bother me too much.  The only thing that bothers me is that it seems to be leaning towards games as a service.  Maybe all these 'innovative iterations'  are really just cash grabs but I really don't mind because I know that means Elder Scrolls VI will be astounding and that really is the endgame for me.
