Forums - Sony Discussion - Official Sony PlayStation E3 2018 Thread

Gotta agree with Hiku, the level of child-like impatience and intense ADHD displayed in this thread was outstanding. Not excusing the pacing issue and long ass intermission but still.

Almost forgot about Remedy's game. Is it exclusive?

Published by 505 so no.

Wonder if it'll play and run better than QB did on PC.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

You know, had Sony took the Twin Mirror, Ghost Giant, Tetris Effect, and Days Gone release date announcements to the intermission, then the conference would've gone more smoothly.

Yeah the only team capable of announcing an Exclusive right now is Guerrilla but they for sure working on Horizon 2 and I doubt that it releases on PS4. They will have to rely on 3rd party deals for a while.

My guess is that next E3 we will start seeing next gen games revealed.  Whether they are said to be next gen or not will depend on if the PS5 is releasing in 2019 or 2020.

I don't think that PS5 will release in 2019 i would be shocked if it did, It's clear that the PS5 will be backwards compatible since almost all of Sony's games had no release dates.

Complaining about 20-30 mins with just one game trailer shown is not being impatient or ADHD.  Sony has had some of the best E3's this gen, so they have no excuse to screw up this royally at the beginning.  Sure, it was probably pretty cool for the audience that was there, but it played horribly for people at home.  They will not be repeating this, again.  I seriously don't know why they didn't just have it all at one spot.  They have done it before, even with musicians and stage performers.

Agree, that would have improved the pacing of the show.

RE2 isn't exactly a reveal, it's the teaser trailer of a non-exclusive remake we've known it would come out for like a year alteady.

It's like to be excited at Final Fantasy IV DS.

The showing for Death Stranding and Ghosts Of Tsushima wasn't very good in my opinion. I was expecting a responsive traversal gamey game for GOT, but it looked like Hellblade in Japan. I'm not feeling that game, Shadows Die Twice looks much more my thing, which is a shame.

I got to see gameplay footage of exclusives that I'm interested in from the sony conference and the multiplatform game reveals from the MS conference so I'm happy with this E3 overall.

Yep.  They should have had a presenter at the main stage that came on as soon as they were done with TLOU2.  He just simply announces what they were trying to accomplish and that the main event will continue after the audience is seated, but here are some smaller announcements while you wait.  Cue the string of full-length trailers for those games.  By the time they end, they should be ready to go.
