That would be nice. It's odd they never mention sales.

May i asked why does it actually matter weather its sold on what system and how much?

As you both can clearly see MS isnt about just simple 1 platform figures anymore. Its all about the combined total of there platforms. For example - its about increasing Live revenue not how many Xbox consoles are sold.

1million players are 1million players regardless if there free trails or paid members. Its all about getting people on Live and hooking them to subscribe. Thats there buisness model. Thats why games like SOTs were designed, for the long haul to keep gamers paying.

Thats the buisness practices i see from them. Live subs earn more money than consoles sold.

What you’re saying is fine, except you’re acting like MS changed their measures of success and profit for some higher purpose or reasoning. But the reality is that MS only stopped giving hard sales numbers after the ps4 continued to run away from the XBO in sales.

Another PR with creative accolades?

Hi Don, What are your thoughts on SOD2? I am curious to know.

Also what's so hard to understand that 1m players have played SOD2 in 48hours?

No opinion on SoD2, haven't played it.

1M in 48h not hard to understand, the caveats were already exposed to you and you just said "irrelevant, who cares about sales?"

The creative accolades are all the other stuff said like 6M bags of snacks.

Well I consider them more fun facts. And its good they can keep record of what gamers actually do in there games than just dish out useless sales figures that don't benefit gamers at all.

So knowing how many bag of snacks were open benefit the gamers more than knowing the real sales?

I think VGC should start charting those then as they seem to be more relevant.

In game Knowledge, knowing what a lot of gamers are doing can benefit me in game. How do sales figures help me beat or enjoy a game? If you haven't notice, I don't take these fun stats too seriously as for sales figures.. if I was a share holder I might care more.

I personally think you are taking these fun facts too seriously. Why does everything have to have a serious meaning?

Knowing 6M bags of snack were used help you beat or enjoy a game in what manner?

Games sales help you know if the game will have a future or not, and guess what, we are on a sales tracking site.

I'm not taking them seriously, I actually laugh at these releases that try to show a better version of their numbers. We know it is made to please investors and show a strong front.

And again, why do you keep coming to VGC if sales doesn't matter to you?
