Again, they could port it but it'd look blurry as hell, and run like garbage. Unless serious modifications are made to factors that influence performance like poly counts, texture resolutions, and frame rates. And man, can anybody imagine what it'd look like undocked? Just a smudge of Vaseline. If Xenoblade 2 looks the way it does undocked, I don't expect a game like this to look any better.

I think Xenoblade looks fine undocked

Eh, to each his own. I personally can't play it undocked. Sometimes it looks like a real time super compressed JPEG.

Ya i guess im just not as picky about visuals.

DOOM is another game that people said looked poor undocked and i had no issues with it.

Didn't we get this thread already a few days ago?

Either way, I still think it'd cool to see them give it a shot. Although, their work on Borderlands 2 for the Vita isn't one of their high points in their portfolio...

Ya they seem to be hit or miss.

Skyrim Switch and a few other titles they did a good job with but Borderlands on Vita was kinda meh from what i hear and Arkham Knight on PC was very poor.

If they had a near flawless track record with porting than i would definitely love to see them port MHW to Switch.

I'd still want to see them try, just to see how they do. It'd be pretty crazy cool if they managed to pull it off.

I think the odds that they'd be able to make a decent port for the Switch are a lot better than some seem to believe. The decreased visuals really don't prevent a game from selling well on the Switch, and from personal experience I can say that the size of the screen in handheld mode generally makes the game look great even when it would look quite poor docked.

I doubt they'll do it, though. Capcom says they started developing this well before the Switch was announced, and with how well it's selling I imagine they're already well underway on a new title that will definitely come to the platform.

I wish them good luck. They'll need it.

Not possible lol, i would love to see them try. Maybe failing will teach tbem how ludicrous this statement is.

It'll happen. That or there's a MH5 or whatever in the works.
