Poll of the Week

Hello everyone, and welcome to the newest instalment of the Poll of the Week! This time, it's a rather simple one (or maybe not for those who divide your time more equally!): which platform do you play on most? I decided to do a few options:

  • PlayStation 4
  • Xbox One
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Nintendo 3DS
  • PlayStation Vita
  • PC
  • Mobile
  • Retro
  • Other (such as browser or arcade games)
  • I don't play games (but then I guess that begs the question why you visit this site )
As for me, I do mainly play retro myself!! The PS1 and PS2 are my favourite consoles, and considering that most of my collection is made up of legacy consoles and their games, it is comfortably ahead of the other titles.
So guys, what about you? Do you play on one of the home consoles most? Or maybe the last remaining dedicated handhelds? How about the PC? Or maybe you like to play on your tablet or cell phone? Or who knows, maybe you are someone who comes here but doesn't play games!

I chose PS4, but it's probably really close between PS4 and PC. I use both a lot.

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

Switch is the only console I've been playing regulary in the past few months.

By now it's Switch. There's always a transitional period when I get a new console, because new consoles don't have a lot of games worth buying, so I keep spending more time on my older consoles. That was the case for Switch up until the release of Fire Emblem Warriors, but since then Switch has really taken over.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

Since Fire Emblem Warriors? Sounds like you're really getting into Warriors games!

No, regular Warriors games are third party titles, so I am not going to touch them.

The only difference is who owns the IP. Don't let that sway you! The Wii even had an "exclusive" Samurai Warriors game

Really? I thought basic features like a lock-on weren't introduced until Hyrule Warriors.

Well... ok.... but who needs a lock-on anyways?

Besides, what if a future non-Nintendo IP Warriors game is released on Switch with all the new features from Hyrule/Fire Emblem Warriors? How could you not be interested by that?

A lock-on takes care of the camera work. It's also optional, so if you don't like it, you don't need to use it.

I am convinced that Koei is so eager to continue a partnership with Nintendo that there will be enough Nintendo IP Warriors games on Switch.
