Well what do you suggest that Disney should do with the license ? |
Ruin it further.

Big risk ? We're talking about Star Wars mate. It's destined to sell big with it's demographic even if it ends up being a crappy product like SWB2. |
Well, a deal with one of the most experienced and qualified publishers in the gaming bussiness seemed like a very safe deal too, and look at what happened. And besides, Disney doesn't care about videogames. If they wanted, they could become one of the biggest names in the industry, just out of IPs and licenses, but they don't.

Same here. Except that's I'd be pissed if they develop star war games. Ubi brings out new IP on a constant basis and doesn't shy away from trying something new. I don't want them wasting their talent and teams on shitty star wars games. I'd rather EA keeps it or Activision buy it.
Seeing that all major publishers are moving onto the the 'live services' gravy train, I doubt we will get a great single player star wars game any time soon.
Initially, I stayed optimistic with EA as they would potentially be able to develop some great games. Both new games but also new entries in these series:
DICE: Battlefront
Bioware: Knights of the Old Republic
Visceral: Jedi Knight
Criterion: Podracer/Tie Fighter/Rogue Squadron
Respawn Entertainment: Republic Commando
Petroglyph Games: Empire at War
Here we are 5 years later and EA has only managed to put out 2 lacking Battlefront games. Therefore, I'll be quite pleased if Disney ends up licensing games individually.

So is it the same people working there or just the one guy?
Hopefully EA doesn´t get to make any starwars games ever again, individual licencing would be best.
