I can see 90s arcade racer doing well as long as it doesn't come out close to ridge racer. A couple months before or after and I'm sure it will be fine

I'd forgotten about this game. It does seem to have similar mechanics to Ridge Racer. I was just thinking about that other game the other day though. Racing apex. I think RR will massively undermine that game.

Uh, this game probably killed itself. I don't think it's even called 90's Arcade Racer any more. It's been delayed and there have been barely any updates.

90s arcade racer has been dead in the water for quite awhile. Its a shame too, i was really hyped for it at one point

Well,there is still time. RR8 hasn't been announced yet,just need to stop delaying 90's Arcade Racer (They changed the title btw) and launch the game at once.

Was Ridge Racer 8 announced for the Switch? I thought it was still just a rumor.

Kaz Hirai won't be happy about this. I don't know Ridge Racer very well but I would try the older ones.

90s arcade racer is more in tune with SEGA racers TBH than RR of the 90s. Think Daytona USA. Besides this game is never coming out. It's vaporware. It was announced many years ago and has had so many delays. I was so excited when I first heard of it several years ago.

RR was dead an eternity ago. Killed by time and a dozen other franchises. I think the last time it was even somewhat relevant was for being a PS2 launch-era title. Past that, dead for all but the most niche spot.

Shame, I really loved RR BITD. For that matter, a ton of great racers are dead from lack of new entries and everyone basically only has a handful of Sim or simcade games, and NFS stuff to go on these days. Even pretty decent stuff like Driveclub killed their devs :/
