Oh shit, PS4 won a week :O

Also, what's up with those Dissidia reader reviews?

Subpar single player experience compared to previous installments? I think.

Nope, it's the lag in online battles. Dissidia is very popular in Japan arcades. People still line up for it. It also doesn't have any lag whatsoever despite also being an online arcade game. The console version however suffes from inconsistent network performance. It's generally ok but getting into a match with even just one player with subpar connection creates lag for everyone which is where the negative reviews are coming from. Just imagine playing the flawless arcade version then switching to what could have been a more convenient console version then encountering lag.

I will add my own tables later.

Nintendo really sucks with the Switch. 3DS easily had this much supply iirc, which is a big reason why Switch still hasn't surpassed it aligned.

Can't believe arms is selling well, it was dead a few months back.

Never dead, just didn't make the top 20 (sold like 50k-80k while not charting for a couple of months)

Anyone can tell me if this has a chance of being the top selling Zelda game of all time in Japan? I know they are not big on Zelda so sales are low across the board.

Ocarina of time on N64 sold 1.45m in Japan according to vgchartz so even with digital included botw doesn't have much of a chance.

Just checked the zelda database and to my amazement OOT is only the third best selling zelda game in Japan, Adventures of link sold 1.61m and the original LOZ on the NES has sold 1.69m units. So Botw needs to double it's current sales to reach the top so no there isn't any chance of it selling the most, it would be a miracle.

I wouldnt say there is no chance... High wall? Yes extremly high but impossible isnt a option yet. The game is still selling.

We could be potientially be at 1.05mil right now shipped+digital.

Well yes it sucks but switch was more prioritize for the West. Also switxh momentum will kill 3ds year 2 and some. 3ds 1st year wasnt normal

Stock issues are really hurting the switch, and it's gonna its first year in less than two months

I don't think we need a "new way to play". Probably a "new way to increase stock"

Expert timing with the other thread, I see :)

Now we know where their production line went to, and the cardboard they need for the Switch boxes......

Interesting. There are also really long wait times during matchmaking in the Beta. I really hope that's not the case in the full version of the game.

That is also one of the main complaints of Japanese players. Long wait times and when they do encounter players, they end up as AI instead of actual players which is actually kind of a nice idea(if no players are found the game gets you AI opponents instead) but can get annoying since you did go online to fight real people and not AI.

Damn Nintendo fix your shipments issues already. You better not chicken out before breaking the WW record

According to gematsu earth Defense Force 5 the ps4 exclusive has now shipped + digital over 300,000 copies. When all is said and done and including Western sales this will have an impressive total. D3 must be delighted.
