I do hope this is the case, that they just wanted to get some smaller announcements out of the way first to then make a bigger Direct focused on the stuff that really matters.

Yes, it will be very interesting to see FE on the Switch.

Hopefully we can reach 60FPS in combat.
The battle sequences can play at 30FPS, but I want 60FPS for movement.

FE: Switch should be a good showcase of the system's power.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Theory: they didn't actually have a direct planned, for the 11th, but the hype from the rumours was too much of an opportunity to pass on...

So...I've noticed something very interesting although it may be nothing...

Go to
Nintendo Japan's Direct site:

Now go to

Then try to find WHY there seems to be a spot open...(there is usually an even number of directs as per OP...).

I noticed it because I couldn't figure out why the two pages are two days apart. One is without the 1.11.18 direct, but still there is a spot missing with the same number (15 Directs). Then I seen the difference...could just be an odd coincidence though. I'll let you find out what is missing...

Yes, But its not even the oldest Direct located on the bottom of the page which would be the one located for 3.4.2016 but the Direct that was done 6 spots before it on 1.19.2017 that is missing. (Fire Emblem 2017 Direct)

Would make more sense if they just removed the oldest one. Not the one in the middle unless there is a reason to do so. Which coincidentally is a game people are planning to see in 2018.

I think there is a Fire Emblem Direct coming soon in the next couple weeks. Not a full direct, but a focused one.

BUT who knows, this could all be nothing more than a coincidence that the person that manages the website decided to remove one at random which so happened to be the FE Direct lol.

That would be great, but I'm not setting high expectations of another direct happening so soon.
