Forums - PC Discussion - Anyone want to purchase my steam account?

Wait, so buying this from you will cause you to visit Vietnam, a country that loves Trump? So buying this account from you is a financial endorsement of Trump?

I don't think that's allowed in Steam's terms of service, so I am not going to purchase an account just to risk it being terminated shortly afterwards.

Another blow against digital purchases.

you would think you can at least transfer the games to a new profile.

what happens if you have a kid and want to give them some games to play. Why pay twice lol.

The risk that the account will be closed is way too high. So, it would have to be a great deal. I would be willing to pay about 20% of the lowest sale price of each of the games that I'm interested in, plus maybe a few dollars for all of the rest. So, based on the prices you mentioned, and figuring that I may be interested in a third of the games, we're probably talking about $100 to $200. If you think you want to sell it for that, I'll take a look at your games list.

Maybe just "gift" all your games to another account?

Not possible.

Considering how "advanced" everything is, you'd think there'd be an easier solution. Thirty years ago, if my Dad wanted to give me Super Mario Bros., all he had to do was just hand it to me and walk away. lol

Why not?  Or did they never implement that after they said they would?  I never actually tried.

Can you find a source for that.

I cannot find a method to transfer games.
I have never seen one.

With Valve clamping down on the abuse of the gift system, I doubt it would be available still.
If it ever was possible in the past.

I remember reading somewhere Valve was going to implement that.  I remember cause I was thinking of giving my Masquerade Bloodlines to my cousin since he wanted to try it and I was never going to play it.
