How times have changed, back in the ps2 Era these charts would have been littered with playstation games. Now the turnaround couldn't be more obvious.
The Switch is saving the market in Japan, really nice to see so many good numbers. Also happy to see ambitious titles doing well even in Japan like Splatoon, Botw and Odyssey. Its clear Nintendo will continue in this direction with the critical acclaim and also commercial success of these games.

just like you using comg to say PS4 will dominate Japan next year |
Lol that was a joke. Some people take me too seriously.
Odyssey seems to be the 2nd best selling 3D Mario in Japan right after 3D Land (which btw is misleadingly slated as Super Mario 3DS in the database) and it's been on the market for exactly two months !

Its ahead by aroubd 210k aligned and that doesnt include digital. SMO is going to be close to 1.8mil-1.9mil in shipped+digital by Jan 7th
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (NS)- 35,565 (738,026)
261,974 copies away from 1 million. I know it's much, much closer when combining digital and the Wii U version. (It might even be there already.) I'm just looking at the Switch version by itself.
The Road continues.
