Switch ‘Revised’

-Mic support and Bluetooth 
-Less Bezel decreasing size by 1 inch on all sides of system making it more portable.
-Better battery over OG Switch
-Better kickstand
-New TegraX Processor
-Gorilla Glass Screen rather than the plastic currently used

Joy -cons with grips would make for a more pleasant holding experience, I figure the only reason this initial version doesn't have it is because of Nintendo wanting to keep the cost and size of the device down.

Lol. The thread asked about a revision of the current Switch and some of you want the next gen Switch or Switch 2.

I personally hope they don’t do anything for a while but if they do after a couple years then battery and screen upgrades make sense.

I seriously doubt Nintendo will bother upgrading the gpu or cpu as power seems like the last thing they care about and I agree. Saying that, the tegra 2 is better on batteries without being significantly faster so that might happen.

Maybe a better dock. I now use a screen protector on my current Switch as the first one was scratched by the stupid dock.

I do not see how they can change the size of the console without changing the size of the joycons whilst keeping the same design. This creates different sizes joy cons and will lead to fragmentation and confusion. The last thing a console needs.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind a Switch XL of some sorts where the screen is bigger.
Looking at my Switch right now, the corners have the black shading around it and the screen inside of it. I’d like it of they at least took that out and made the screen bigger that way. Also, it NEEDS to come with a screen protector. Move the charging port from the bottom of the unit to the top. Also it needs a stronger kickstand. Or at least put an extra one. Tha extra one can even be where the game card slot goes.

Original Generation

The first “base” model of any electronic. That’s how I’ve always seen it.

OG iPhone (iPhone 2G)

OG Nexus 7 (Nexus 7 2012)

Don’t see many people use it here with game consoles though. Like the OG PS4, OG XB1, etc. But I’ve seen it used with smartphones, tablets, and other electronics.
