Millions of people bought Nier Automata and here's how they thank them. This is simply rude. Will this company ever learn to respect its customers?

Agree, where is Nier Automata and Persona 5 on Switch?

The same place where Bayonetta 3 and Shin Megami Tensei V are on PS4 and Xbox One.

You need to stop spreading this baseless lie. And the irony is it was Nintendo that kept Monster Hunter off Playstation Vita, effectively killing it in Japan.

Source or proof? Do you have? If not then LOL

This time I will just ask a simple question (but thank you :for digging : the infamous thread must live forever)

Today there's no "they didn't want to publish my game!". If Sega is still the owner of the Bayonetta IP, then they purposely ignored 100m gamers, that is to say 93% of the gaming population. This is anti-democratic behavior and thus shouldn't be tolerated. They will not mock PS4/X1 players and get away with it!

Normally I would have made a thread but I'm too old for this now, and frankly I don't really give a sh** anymore. There are so many great games out there to be experienced. I'll skip Bayo 2&3 and that's all.
Besides I have to go outside because Hoenn generation has just popped on Pokemon Go.

After Sony paid to keep mh world off of the switch I really don't give a damn. If the other companies are going to play dirty so should nintendo

Yeah, why Nintendo have to be nice when Sony does it?

Sony or MS didn't fund Bayo 2........ Why would they bring Bayo 3 to them?

Because there's a 100m potential market of which 1m bought Bayonetta 1.

Nintendo just repeat what Sony did to MH World

Were people really expecting Bayonetta 3 to be multiplatform? I mean most didn't care enough about the franchise to get a WiiU to play Bayonetta 2, so whats the big deal?

Where's your source that Nintendo kept MH off the Vita?

And Sony killed the Vita in Japan and everywhere else in the world.

Switch is selling just fine in Japan without MH.

If I remember correctly, the general consensus agrees that Nintendo had an exclusivity deal with Capcom on Monster Hunter, which makes sense because the series skipped the Vita and PS3 in favor of 3DS and Wii. Why else wouldn't they be on Sony's platforms for several years when third party games generally perform much better on them? I don't remember if this was confirmed or just a logical speculation.

Yes.. Sony did play a big part in killing the Vita, which does actually correlate to them failing to secure exclusives and bringing Monster Hunter to their platforms. So your statement and mine aren't contradictory. MH could have had a ripple effect, increasing Vita's support and thus sales to a potential 40m+ worldwide. So if we assume Nintendo paid, then they are also indirectly responsible for killing the Vita. Sympathy has no place in business... if Nintendo senses a potential threat, they'll do all the can to eliminate it. Monster Hunter did wonders to PSP..

I can say with absolute confidence that mainline Monster Hunter will be out for Switch in no time. It's just silly to jump into conclusions so soon. As everybody knows, MHW has been in development for over 4 years now, that's long before Switch's announcement. If Capcom wants to get it running on the Switch in an acceptable form, they will have to take their time and optimize it for the weaker platform. By announcing the Switch version too early, they'd be risking the sales of the PS4 version. None of that necessitates Sony's involvement. I won't deny the possibility that they might be involved, but there is so little evidence to back such claims at this point. We should be glad that Capcom upped their production values due to PS4's success instead of whining about it 24/7. All PS4 did is speed up the transition of the series.

This is the same "baseless lie" that accurately leaked both mh world and both versions of XX late last year

And that makes it accurate when the leaker is a Nintendo fanboy who claimed it's not a mainline iteration? Who didn't mention development time? Who said it's an excessively westernized/casualized spin off? Who also said Monster Hunter 5 is in development for Switch? Do you believe all of that nonsense? If you do... then why on earth are you upset? Have your smile back! MH5 is coming to the Switch :D much better than the trash PS4/PC/X1 owners are getting!

Correct, that is why Nintendo pay for Bayonetta 3 exclusive like the second

Yeah, so no doubt Bayonetta 3 is Nintendo exclusive like Nier Automata or Nioh are Sony console exclusive

Obviously Switch cannot run MHW. Capcom (wisely) chose PS4/X1 because the potential market was bigger and because they needed more powerful hardware to make the series go forward.

Of course it is. PS4 has the largest userbase, then it has the largest library and the most games in development. Any Switch 3rd party exclusive is against the will of the people. As OP of the Playstation Nation, do you really think it's fair that PS4 players are left out? How is this even legitimate?

So I’m guessing that, basing off this premise, if Sony were to secure an exclusive that would be nice to play on the Switch, you would say “get a PS4 then”? Then I’m more than glad games like Octopath Traveler, Bayo 3, NMH (sorta?), and SMT V are exclusive to Switch. Hell, I’m glad the 3DS was able to get games like MH, Yokai Watch, SMT, Etrian Odyssey, Ace Attorney, and Professor Layton as exclusives. :P You’re not gonna get everything on one console. That has been that way since the console wars of the 90s. Would it be nice to have everything in one console? Sure. But that isn’t possible since we have three competing first party companies making hardware and dealing with third parties.

It is, Travis Strikes Back is a full NMH game
