Looks decent for Xeno2. I guess portability & the new design has helped.

Skyrim, LA Noire and Doom however drowned beneath the top 40 this week, confirming Switch audience's lack of appetite for 3rd party games. Gear Club Unlimited is some atomic bomba : #32 in the Switch chart below "Ben 10" or whatever it is. I saw Nintendo France pushing this title as an alternative to GT or Forza, in which they seem to have failed in epic proportions. Taking all that into account, the risk of Western 3rd parties ignoring the Switch in the future is rising alarmingly.

Looks like GT Sport can still end up PS4 best-selling exclusive in the UK

It's up in France too. Amazing how Sony managed to save it from certain disaster. Playlink is getting impressive results too.

Xenoblade Chronicles X sales were up 75% from Xenoblade Chronicles. I don’t think it’s portability so much as a natural increase in popularity in the franchise. Still poor numbers though.

Poor numbers for a jrpg in UK? Other than FF/Pokemon what jrpg does good numbers?

Gear club unlimited is a straight port of a mobile game.  I doubt those sales are a "failure", seeing as how little resources it took to port it.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

It did great by going up 3500 sales and being the best selling entry in the series. But it is still pitiful even for JRPG imo. Especially with the Switch hype boosting most of its exclusive games.

wheres gt sport launch week WW numbers gone?

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Ni No Kuni and Persona 5 both launched at # 1. Tales of Zestria at # 8.

Anything else? Pokemon/FF top franchises

Tales of

Ni no kuni

Persona (just became big with 4G and 5)

And.........? Calling it poor numbers and if tales/Persona/Ni no kuni are the only ones as jrpgs that sell well then Xeno isnt bad. That said its also growing as a franchise, but poor numbers i suppose?

Do you know how many copies these games sold at release? Xenoblade Chronicles entered the UK charts at 3# and sold less than Xenoblade Chronicles 2 at  #16.

Ni No Kuni and Persona 5 did beat Xenoblade 2, but Tales of Zesteria didn't on two separate platforms.

You're right though, pretty week considering how much advertising it had. It would have done even better if the advertising wasn't questionable.

XCX entered the charts at #28, not #3 - that’s for the WiiU games only.
