So, what exactly is the stupidity that he is pulling now?
Is that he shut down the US government and nationalized jobs because he can't get Mexico to pay for a wall like he promised.
Or did he shut it all down because he wants the Democratic party to pay for it instead?

American politics are a little confusing, neither of those things make sense. I think whiney baby Trump needs to sit in a corner and get a timeout before his tantrum breaks something.

If the house and president don't come up with spending the government gets shut down.

Trumps want the house to approve $5.6B for border security but they are refusing.

The shutdown ends when Trump or the democrat controlled house budges.

You need to pass the house AND the senate (and then the President).   The President can veto. The congress (both house and senate) can Veto said veto.

The senate UNANIMOUSLY (that is all 100) sent the bill to the house.  That is a 100 senators 49 democrats and 51 republicans agreed on the bill.

Keeping in mind this is with a Republican house, Republican Senate, and a Republican President.

Then Ann coulter wrote an article about how much a failure Trump is - so Paul Ryan (yep another Republican) refused to even bring it to the floor.

Then the Republican (see that showing up a lot don't yeah) House voted on a bill and sent it to the Republican Senate. It died there. Couldn't get enough votes to pass. Again that is with a Republican Senate. IE a Majority of them are Republicans.

So for the third time - the government shutdown. Three times under a Republican President, House, AND Senate it shut down.

It didn't become the Democrats problem until Jan 3. Around 15 days after it started.

And actually the shutdown ends when Mcconnel folds.  They have enough votes to make it veto proof that is why MCConnel is refusing to bring it to the floor, and why Paul Ryan refused.

When i first said house i meant congress, my bad. But yeah it would need to pass the house and senate. I just hope the shutdown ends border wall or no border wall. It's gone on for too long.

Being unable to vote for Trump because I do not live in the USA. Everyone must vote Trump and support him on all issues. I do not understand how anyone can not support the greatest President of all time, Donald Trump. Trump has fired heaps of his advisors and staffers because they are not fully behind him and they do not believe in him. Trump has to get rid of the non-believers and have them all on the same page. Trump is a strong leader and he is making America great again!

Democrats are in the wrong here. They don't even want to cut a deal.

Why are we talking about the Democrats? I thought Mexico was going to pay for the wall

Waiting for the Dems to offer 10 billion to tear down the existing wall.

The president promised that Mexico would pay for the wall why should we have to? I don't want the damn thing, a needless expense that wouldn't stop most illegal immigrant in a time where border arrests have been dropping at a consistent rate since I was in elementary school. If he wants the wall he should talk to Mexico like he initially said he would not put 800,000 people out of work

The wall would basickly end the problem of people illegally entering from the southern border. Hundreds of thousands of people enter the US this way every year so it would be wise for us to fund the wall to stop that. Trump knows that the only way he can do it now is with having the government shutdown over it.

If he can't get Mexico to pay for it maybe he shouldn't have made this bs promise in the first place. Either way even if the wall appeared over night it still wouldn't fix anything in the long run. The majority of illegal immigration is a result of people entering the country legally then over staying their visas and that's been the case since 2007.
