It’s okay. It definitely feels like it’s lacking something but it shouldn’t end the franchise, the actors really did a good job with their characters.

Sorry already have to keep up with Marvel Universe and I think Marvel movies are usually way better than DCU movies except for the dark knight. Wonder woman was well done though. The problem I have with DCU is that it has barely laid any groundwork for collaboration projects to work really well.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Saw it last night. Liked it a lot but i was also a big fan of BvS.

Superman coming back was nice but i was really impressed with how powerful they made him be. Him beating down everyone including woderwoman was awesome.

Thought overall they did a great job with the new characters, Aquaman really impressed me.

Highly recommend seeing it.

Had to change my sig to get some moderator to quit bitching about it......

It's a bit of a shame that after the pretty good Wonder Woman the DCEU is incapable of keeping up the pace. Wonder Woman was great, JL was just horrific. I'm among the people who was some redeeming factors in BvS when it released, but I really couldn't enjoy anything about JL. It was one of the worst movies I've seen in a pretty long time.

At least I saw Ragnarok today, because I haven't had time to see it in the last weeks. And, wow, that film surely was great. So I left the cinema happy thanks to that. But I really want to see a great DCEU, and they just aren't delivering. Except for Wonder Woman, the rest were just between horrific and meh. And I'm a guy who honestly love more about DC than about Marvel, at least I tend to read more DC comics than Marvel comics, just because I think the villains and heroes are better. But they just can't translate that into the cinematic universe right. Marvel did a great job in translating its universe to the cinema. DC seems to be at lost.

Just look at the audience RT score. The majority of those who’ve watched it loved it.

I loved the bit where Flash sees that Superman can keep up with him. The look on his face was hilarious.

Well, after seeing this movie I'm saying a permanent "Fuck off" to Bob Chipman as a movie critic that I watch with some regularity. I went in expecting a bad flick, but ended up with a pretty honest, pretty fun romp of a movie that seems to finally hit some good beats and ignites my interest for the franchise moving forward. I'm not a huge fan of Man of Steel or Batman v. Superman, but I did enjoy them at the time and would rewatch again...but this feels a step above those. Heck, I'd call it on par with the animated Justice League: War movie from a few years ago.

It's amazing how much people complain about the DCEU honestly. It doesn't seem to matter what direction these movies chose, there will always be an incredible amount of whining from fans that each want a different thing from what they're getting. No matter how the costumes look, someone will say they're ugly. No matter how the characters act, someone will say it's not how they should act. No matter what the villains are, someone will say they should be someone else or someone different. The noise is just...eeeesh.
I feel Marvel doesn't have to deal with shit like this basically because there was never something different for fans to expect.

I can't say I hated it. Is better than BvS, but still a bad movie with some good moments. That's it

People do give Marvel a lot of leash to work with. But the upside is that people seem to be loving the JL movie - those who've watched it, of course.

Haven't watched it yet personally, but I find it quite interesting that there seems to be such genuine glee from a large number of people when DC movies do poorly. Man of Steel and Wonder Woman were both very good imo, so hopefully this one is more like those than BvS (I didn't watch Suicide Squad).
