If we are comparing X1 to X1X of course X1X would be a better place to play... but how does it fair against a PC? Is it still a better place or equivalent?

It's not on PC

I thought it had already migrated to there thanks to MS policies to have all in PC.
So yep, X1X is the place to play this... does it allow or improve using KB+M?

Shooters are meant to be played in VR or as I heard in 144 fps with M+KB.
The X does make the original artwork shine.

Don’t care for the MP, though the mode with the cards can be fun if the teams aren’t wildly unbalanced. War zone? |
Nope, the base version does a great job of sticking to 60fps. It utilizes a very aggressive dynamic resolution to ensure it misses its frame-rate target as little as possible. The X1X version is also using a dynamic resolution, but it's less aggressive and is much less frequently necessary (the base version almost never hit 1080p, but the X1X version consistently hits 4K). Overall it's a big improvement.

The single player to me looks better than the multiplayer in Halo 5 so with Halo 5 Forge on pc only being multiplayer it does not look as good to me.
having recently played horizon, this looks so dated
Shadow1980 said: I was never terribly impressed by Halo 5's graphics relative to some other current-gen games (hell, Halo 2 Anniversary looked better), but playing it on the X1X I've seen some noticeable improvement. It looks like a proper Gen 8 title now. There's hardly any aliasing. It's easier to notice fine details. Textures look better. The contrast and colors are better. The game basically got a shiny, new, high-quality coat of paint to replaced the dull veneer it originally. Looks almost brand new. |
Perhaps H5 was to ambitious for X1 original HW.
