I just ordered mine yesterday from Newegg.com and should have it on Monday which is perfect because my off days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

They have a special going where if you buy the X you get a $100 Newegg Gift Card. There was no cost for shipping and no tax so I paid exactly $499. I will turn around and use the $100 Gift Card to purchase an extended warranty.

If you do, I say go with Horizon 3. It's 4K now and I've always enjoyed the Horizon series more than the main series. That's just my two cents, though.

Well Forza Motorsports 7 is currently on sale though, plus there is probably a pretty good chance that Horizon 3 will end up on Game Pass pretty soon and Horizon 2 will be on Games with Gold later this year before it gets delisted since all Forza games only have a 4 year digital life cycle.  Its kinda odd that the they enhanced the first Horizon game for the X1X since you no longer can buy it digitally.

You never can tell with M$. They even made Batman Arkham Origins backwards compatible and it never had a digital version at all. No way they can profit from it but they still did it.

Ok, its official.  I also found a Samsung 40inch 4K HDR TV for $230 so I used my $100 Newegg Gift Card and paid $130 for it! TV should be here in a couple days. 

$630 total for the Xbox One X and a Samsung 4K HDR TV.

Can somebody tell me if the console will download the enhanced patches for games automatically when I install a game.

I spent all day yesterday downloading games and still downloading more now. I was just wondering if the enhanced versions are being downloaded since I now  have the X.

I must say Halo 5 looks so much better to me and I am still playing on my 1080p. The game was 97 GB I think so is it already enhanced?

I'm at work so I can't be 100% specific but there's an option in settings that lets you automatically download 4K updates. I'm pretty sure it's enabled automatically but, when I got my X, I was able to set up everything before I even got the system.

at 40' it ain't a TV It's a tablet 😜  jk

 

 

enjoy... Me I'm looking to switch to a 60'+ or a video projector but those 4k hdr video projector price are out of this world.. Especially since most of them are still not really performing well from what I get...

I am currently using a 40 inch 1080P LCD that I have had since forever so I am basically just switching it out for a 4K at the same size. This is my first 4K so I am very happy.      

Samsung MU6290 is what I am getting.
