I know I'm one of those "full digital" guys but am I the only one who wishes we NEVER go back to popping in a disc and playing directly from that? I mean they're so noisy and they fail so often!

One benefit I found with digital downloads.  If you go to someone else house and they have the same game but its on a disk, if you sign in with your profile, the disk would not be needed and it will run the game as if it was a digital download.

I'll do you one better. Log into his console and set it as your "home xbox." Get him to do the same thing on yours and every time one of you buy a digital game or dlc, the other gets it for free. I do this for my younger brothers. They're currently playing shadow of war without spending a penny.

I just don't trust anyone that much. I think we get four chances to change our home console but I worry that I could get screwed. I have hundreds of games.

I only did it for my brothers because one of them is in high school and the other is in primary school which is the equivalent of elementary school. Games here in Australia cost about $80-100. I only trust them because I can comfortably still beat them both up at once.

If it was a adult friend I'd have reservations too. Friendships can change.

I can tell that I am going to quickly run out of storage space. Does running an external hard drive hurt loading times, or cause issues in gaming in 4K or Enhanced modes?

With XBox One S you could get fast improvements in loading times by using an external drive

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-should-you-upgrade-your-xbox-one-with-an-ssd

It all depends on the drive of course, and there are no tests yet how fast the internal drive is in the X. But since the S already makes good use of a faster drive it would seem logical that using an external SSD to icopy the game you're playing on will help a lot.

Apparently it does not

The interface is faster, cpu as well, so loading times are decreased just as on the pro with an 5400 rpm drive. A good external drive will still be better.

128MB cache is the only improvement over the S then, so yeah, 7200rpm or hybrid or ssd should increase performance, strange I wonder who spread that 7200rpm rumour lol

Watch a video on it myself just before release as I was curious also, Internals provided a big boost over the S but the internal of the X seems to be basically the same as using an external HDD.

Vid below compared S/X and externals but for the X Internal vs Externals specifically it's at 4:35.

Ext SSD drive preformance is not worth the cost. It's negligible on the x. Not enough to justify the cost.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it really helped me a bunch.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

After i changed my flat in the next month i will look out for A Trple X Box too

Unless you're planning on debating it with him, there's no need for this.

OT: he`s debating it in 3 threads simultaneously, so in this thread there is no need for it thx

Is there something new with the gamepads a new production line or something or does they only have the new grey colour?

It's no longer a request. Let this type of junk go or you will land yourself in trouble.

Anyone knows if there is coming out a patch for bf1? Im still playing it and i know that it will have supersampling and that the resolution will be mostly on its max by constant 60fps and not the 50-60 atm is there something announced?

I dont see it on this site atm.
