Seiken Densetsu is actually the first Secret of Mana. Bought the original JP cart to add to my Mana collection. Very fun game.

Also, no SML2? That's the best Mario game on the gameboy imo.

Ya forgot Super Mario Land 2, underrated 2D Mario I feel.

And the best game on the system for me, Donkey Kong 94.

Only played it recently, last year actually and is so damn good.

Pokemon Crystal was an incredible title. Way ahead of its time, and still to this day probably the best Pokemon game ever made. I don’t think any Pokemon game will be nearly as memorable for me as that one.

 The first film came out in 2001, right around the end of the GB/ GBC lifecycle.

Have you played Donkey Kong? It's easily my favorite Gameboy game out of the ones I've played.

Still my favorite Nintendo game.
I also doubt it, I've not been too much into Pokemon since gen 5 but I doubt any game is as magical as this one.
Gen 2 got something already amazing and turned basically everything about it better and cooler.

Gen 2 has an advantage over other Gens. Gen 1 was rough. Gen 3-7 have been connected but not in the same way as 1-2. Gen 5 kinda had it with B/W & B2/W2 but... Unova is and always was very meh as a design XD 

Gen 2 added on to Gen 1, fixed all of its issues and felt very lived in. I noticed people tend to gravitate towards very lived in sorts of environments, and Johto is that. Its rustic and worn with history perfectingly weaving it and Kanto together. Progress was made and you felt like you grew up with the game. It was nice, different.

I didn't say original SML2, I said I preffer the original than SML2, which means Super Mario Land > Super Mario Land 2, to me.

Ah I misread. But, really? I think SML2 is better in every single way.
