Thats your fear, that Switch will beat PS4 WW!? :D

PS4 is on path to be second best selling console of all time, and Switch is also doing great and we still don't know full potential of Switch, but is really matter who will win at end!?

You didn’t read it correctly - it’s obvious that I know that the Switch will never outsell the PS4 WW. In fact, I think the PS4 will outsell the WiiU and the Switch combined.

Yes, it does matter who will win. That’s the whole reason this website was created and why people discuss sales.

I don't think that including the Wii U makes much of a difference.

and neither had as severe stock issues. the switch is just pacing behind ps4 and Wii worldwide and holidays havent even arrived.

remember yall, if nintendo meets 14 million this FY (resulting in 16.7m total for first 12 months), it will officially set the record for most sales in a console's first twelve months in the market.

How much do you think it will sell in March 2018?

I'm assuming you only asked this because you still haven't done the math.

Switch lanuched beginning of March 2017 (month before the new financial year); financial year will finish at the end of March 2018.
13 months.

Based on their forecast, Switch will be closer to 15.7 million in it's first 12 months.

Yeah In my first post I didn’t take that into account, and I asked how much they thought it would sell in March so that I could then subtract that from 16.7 million and provide 12 month estimates rather than 13. If it does sell 15.7 for its first 12 months, that is still the best first 12 months for a console that we know of, no? I forget the past numbers.

....i mean I get its interesting to follow sales but man this guy is ridiculous.

Thanks for this link. I'm going to update the link and mention that the 2m figure is as of the end of September.

Woah. Does that mean it sold 600k in October?

According to Nintendo's offical numbers, it sold 1.92 million in the US as of 9/30/17 (https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2017/171030e.pdf)

Assuming Nintendo is reporting sold to customers, it would be 680K for the month, give or take.
