Hm well I have a Switch,Wii U and 3DS and a semi capable PC.

So that leaves me with the Vita,PS4 and Xbox One So which of these systems would be my third system for generation 8?

Well let's throw Vita out the window because their is little on that thing interests me. *Throws Vita out the window*
What's left is the PS4 and Xbox. The reason to get a PS4 is for its RPGs and that's it. However the 3DS is an RPG machine so getting a 2nd one would probably not be in my interest since I can only play so many RPGs. Xbox One feels like a PS4 but without the Japanese support and a MUCH better controller (Playstation controllers are SO outdated. They really need to update them! ). However Xbox One has Rare Replay. That is like the best exclusive easily from those two systems. I refuse to buy shooters on these systems because of no motion/gyro controls.

Wow I just realized. I cannot pick one. A lot of the "exclusives" can be played on PC as well. I am mostly buying for convenience here. Honestly it is a toss up. I guess it depends on my mood like yesterday I would have chosen an Xbox One but last week it would have been a PS4.

As for the Switch, I'd rather wait for Nintendo's next gen system, the Switch is too weak in my opinion. perhaps a Switch 2 might be more to my taste, I don't know. But the Switch being new, a new system would not come for a very long time so, yeah, I'm looking in the direction of PS5 for my future gaming needs.

The day they release the switch 2 you will be saying the same thing because you will compare it to the ps5.

The Switch was definitely a good choice, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Breath of the Wild, and Super Mario Odyssey can easily tide you over for the rest of the year.
I got a PS4 in 2014 and I felt now was the right time to get a Switch, as well. I'm very happy with the balance of both, such as being able to play some of the best games this year (like Horizon Zero Dawn and Breath of the Wild). Obviously playing games like Doom or Skyrim may not be a draw if you already have access to those games, but I am sure there will be enough variety in first-party titles, as well as stronger support from third-party developers who would be more inclined to debut titles on the system (rather than treating it as secondary to the PS4/Xbox One).

I think the civil war threat is a reality. George Soros just investes 18 billion on "social activism", and he openly funded the brazilian Antifa.

If Lula loses, they (Antifa, the FARCs, MST) will probably start riots like Brazil never saw before.

Here in Brazil, and in Venezuela, we vote in eletronic voting machines made by a venezuelan company called Smartmatic. I fear they steal elections for the status quo socialist left.

LOL well, it looks like I'm not alone. About six months ago I made a comment that Microsoft was really afraid of Nintendo, and then I saw a bunch of articles, telling me why the Switch wasn't 'good enough' because of power. Then, it turns out that we all want a Switch based on what it has and what it can do. So, as a journalist, how do I make sure I understand what the readers even want? If Nintendo comes in with the Switch and kickes all sorts of ass, to me that means that super power isn't required. That only leaves games left. For me, I am looking forward to the following games

NS: Mario Oddesy, Pokken, Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and because of you guys: Splatoon 2
PS4: NiNo Kuni, God of War, Spiderman, Death Stranding, Star Ocean 4 (remake), RD2, and Far Cry 5.
XB/PC: Cuphead

Games over tech. Its been proven over and over again.
