Was just about to post this myself. This movie looks amazing. Rumors from ticket pre-sells clock the film at 155 minutes making it the longest Star Wars movie to date. I get the feeling this trailer spoiled something just like Rain Johnson and Adam Driver said it would. A certain fan theory may have been proven true after all and the foreshadowing in TFA through film making made it too hard to ignore.

This looks awful ... hope it turns out better than the last one

You can't just come in and say that and not give a tiny bit of info as to why you dislike. I mean you can and you did, but just comes off as hating for the sake of hate. Add to the conversation, my boi.

OT: Looks fantastic. I'm pumped for it. The first one was great, I got a little empire strikes back vibe from Rey (ray?) training with luke in isolation, just like luke did with yoda. The overalla story looks more unique than The force awakens. Fingers crossed.

But you can with positive comments, amirite?

Fair point but I'm not really interested in hearing from another positive (unless this is a more in-depth thread on the movie), then it's just a giant circle jerk. This is a bit of a reaction thread to a new trailer so it's far more engaging to hear from both sides. I wanna hear why you didn't like it, there may be things I missed that are glaring issues, inconsistences, etc. I commented to the response that grabbed my attention because it had such a different reaction from my own.

Looks enjoyable. I had fun with Force Awakens and Rogue One, so I'll be seeing this one.

Unfortunately, I won't be doing so in the first month because the cinemas will be super crowded and full of annoying little kids talking during the movie, which I freaking hate, so I'll probably go see it in January and by then likely have it spoiled for me. :(

Looks cool. Force Awakens was really about righting the ship and reminding people why Star Wars was awesome. It was a fun movie, but played it a little too safe, and almost felt like a reimagining of a new hope at times. Hopefully, now that they've washed the prequel taste out of out mouths, they'll think a little more outside the box.

Yeah while Awakens was entertaining, I do hope this one doesn't retread Empire Strikes Back to the degree that the last one did A New Hope.

Hot Damn... This one looks so much better than TFA. Will check it out, for sure.
