I was gonna say there is something to be bothered about because the PS3 version of SotC sucks, but if you're from Belgium it wouldn't have made a difference anyway.

I'd say that maybe it's because SotC sucks in itself and it doesn't matter which version is being played, but you've consistently shown aggressiveness in your latest replies here and I'm not sure why, so don't take that comment to heart. Debating people's opinions is fine, man, but it reads like you've got worked up for some reason, though.

Actually I do love games which is why I want to enjoy them on decent hardware that can actually do the job.

Not sure why it bothers you if I want to wait a few years before maybe getting BOTW on some future Switch 2.

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for instance, I enjoyed those as HD remasters on PS3, never did those on PS2 so

you see, nothing to be bothered about.

Edit: also, I'm not sure how the Switch can't do the job..? The game runs fine, locked at 30fps 99% of the time and at a decent resolution. It looks great, and plays great. I don't see what's wrong? And why it is so hard to appreciate a good game in spite of the hardware? I know I had a blast with BotW even on the Wii U with the common FPS drops, because it is a great game regardless. But, to each their own I guess.

Ok I'm missing something here, how is being from Belgium has anything to do with the PS3 version of Shadow of the Colossus making or not making a difference? I don't understand what you mean.

Also the PS3 version is an improved version over the original release But then you say it sucks without explaining why and you add that since I'm from Belgium it does not matter. I'm genuinely lost here.

1. Wind Waker
2. Twilight Princess
3. Ocarina of Time

Almost my top 3 favourite games of all time too, but Banjo-Kazooie is #3 and OoT #4.

I don't like Breath of the Wild nearly as much as the rest of this site seems to. Doesn't even crack my top 5 Zeldas.

1. Skyward sword - bosses and motion control
2. Breath of the wild - best open world i've ever played
3. Wind Waker - favorite looking game (and sailing)

Wind Waker is teeming with personality and probably the best artwork of the series outside of the overly simplistic Link design which set things off on the wrong foot.  Plus the story is as good as any.   But at the same time, it's easily the most flawed Zelda game of the bunch.  Hardly any dungeons, bosses that could easily be beaten on the first try, sailing being a chore, oddly broken rupee drop RNG, fetch-quests taking up a good chunk of the play time.

It's astounding how it can be the most polished presentation-wise and yet the least polished gameplay-wise Zelda game at the same time.

Yeah the game seems to really be hit and miss with people, and yeah I get the flaws and why people wouldn't like them, but the two things that count for me are story and presentation, and of all the Zelda games I've played (I've not played all of them) it is easily without a doubt top of those two categories.

Also I really didn't mind the sailing if I'm being honest lol.

I didn't really like the original WW all that much, but the remaster was something that I loved.

1. Ocarina of Time
2. Link's Awakening
3. Breath of the Wid

Interesting to see that you hold Link's Awakening in such high regards. I, too, have it on my Top 3; and while I totally disagree with your no.1 pick choice, it seems you and me generally agree on certain games and have, strangely enough, a very very similar soft spot for them. It also happened with Knights of the Old Republic, for reference.

Link's Awakening is just one of those games that hits every note, it's basically perfect, and to me only loses to Ocarina because overall I prefer the 3D games. I could go on and on about that game if I wanted to, and indeed Knights of the Old Republic too.

ALBW, BotW and ALttP

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I think the top 4 on the poll represents how I feel.

1. Breath of the Wild
2. Ocarina of Time
3. Link to the Past
4. Majora’s Mask

The NES games probably come next for me.
Then the handheld games.
Then the remaining 3D home console games.
Then the spinoffs (4 Swords and such).

It’s not that I don’t think Wind Walker, Twiligjt Princess, and Skyward Sword aren’t good, it’s that they aren’t for me. I found them to have too much focus on dungeons, and dungeons were too long.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
