Good that this bias isn't on VGC. In fact VGC is probably the most unbiased forum on the internet. Every fight between Sony and Microsoft Nintendo wins.

Microsoft gave the media little to nothing to talk about this year. Even Xbox youtube sites were majorly only talking about a piece of hardware for nine months now. Thats pathetic. If Microsoft could give the press more to talk about perhaps they would give them a fairer shake. Xbox has the power, but it doesnt have the first party games that were made from scratch to push the platform. Outisde of Forza, Gears and Halo that could show you how far the platform can be pushed.

I was confused by what you were saying until I saw Aeolus451's post and then the actual sentence you guys were referring to. In that sentence, I meant in general I hate accusations of media bias, that I have seen. None of those scenarios actually refers to xbox media bias accusations here. It refers to other media bias accusations I have seen here, but mostly outside of the forum. I wanted to state that before jumping into the Xbox media bias I have, in general, seen. That sentence just happened to be in the wrong place and gave the wrong impression. I apologize on that front. I'll put a note of the bottom of the op.

On the other front, this isn't a problem of other websites. This is a problem of people consistently acting as if the websites reporting facts and reviews regarding the Xbox are the problem.

Yeah... no. I feel as though you didn't from the begining and instead just looked at the tweet. If I were coming from a place of bias, I wouldn't say something like "also didn't do this so Sony or Nintendo fans [get] a pat in the back, as I have seen just as much spin and ridiculous statements on their space. It is just as unsavory." In terms of the consoles, people cite media bias against the Xbox the most.

I would be extremely hard pressed to find something along the lines of a consistent amount of people complaining that the PS4 Pro was getting terrible reception from the media due to bias against Sony and them being in favor of the Xbox One. However, I encourage you to bring up some examples.

Then you need to tell Microsoft to stop the constant PR lies and tries to deceive even their biggest fans. While you're there you can add they really need to up their investments in exclusive game development.

Your so called bias is justified critique, nothing more.

Edit: The media is biased, not for sake of being biased, but to appease the bigger sum of people (the people who have a PS4). Thats fine, the media shitted on PS3 back in 06-07, this works both ways. And people whined about that too. It's only a small group of whiners who raise up "media bias". But after all, that's how the media always was, outside of gaming too.

This is what they call clickbate not bias.

I remember when PS4 launched with Killzone shadow fall, knack, and later on had infamous for 2013/2014 year. Nobody called ps4 out for lack of games. In fact, I remember Sony being called a GENIUS for have no exclusive for a holiday outside of uncharted collection (if you consider that an exclusive). It was all resolution (give me 1080p or give me death, no parity, 1080p makes you a better gamer, ect). Now it's all about the Japanese exclusive all of a sudden even-though if you add up each Japanese exclusive you might get four-five million (a lot of it from Japan) in sales combined which is half of what PUBG sold (soon to be xbox exclusive).

Xbox one x not only has the bigger resolution gap, but it has way superior textures and other items. All of a sudden it's about the Japanese exclusives that Sony got at the begining of this year even though COD alone on ps4 will be more popular than all those games. And COD will run and play better on xbox one x.

Sony  had about the same amount of games as Microsoft at launch. While more were first party on sonys end than Microsoft whose were mostly third party. Sonys just been pulling away in exclusives the past two years and the disparity is only growing.
