Yeah so stagnant with stuff like PS VR, the price cuts, the PS4 Slim and Pro. New ways to play like SharePlay and PlayLink.

Sounds stagnant if you game on other consoles besides Playstation.

It is what it is.

Consumers usually go towards the better console most of the times *cough* Wii *cough*

If you look at it from an objective point of view, the "winner" of the generation was the console that had the better offer for gamers.

We are currently seeing a "war" between Nintendo with their 7th console, Playstation with their 4th console and Xbox, with their 3rd console.

They all have had enough time to correct their mistakes and learn from the competition, if they are fucking up it is because of them, and only them.

No. Microsoft is so far behind due to their own stupidity and inability to make good worthwhile reasons to purchase their console. They can drown until they actually learn their lesson, which at this rate appears like they won't.

What I miss, is the 5th gen and down, when there were a shit ton of different handhelds, consoles, add-ons and home computers. It was very interesting seeing the story, unique ideas and games behind all of them.

As long as the Best console "wins" the generation im fine with it. I dont see why it should be closer when the competition is not up to par with the dominant console.

How can we measure what makes a Better Console? Well, games.

Taking into account both Quantity and Quality, we can objectively decide which is the better platform.

If we are taking into consideration that Playstation consoles have won 3 out of 4 generations in which they have competed, and by the metric that i mentioned earlier, we can comfortably say that the PS1, PS2 and PS4 have been the better consoles in each generation and they have won.

What happened with the PS3/X360 is what in my opinion shouldnt happen.

Both PS3 and X60 were so much better than the Wii, that it pains me to see it at first place.

80+ Games: PS3 (350) vs Wii (92)
