Hmm, I'm trying to think of which EA franchise I'd like to be resurrected. Ultima X? That'd certainly be interesting.

Why resurrect anything when they have a perfectly good Dragon Age lying around? I won't say Mirror's Edge anymore since they obviously cannot handle that IP.

Because Ultima was a classic RPG franchise, and I'd like them to have a good game to go out with, rather than well, Ultima IX...

Dragon Age is a prefectly fine Ultima substitute. I mean what do you think a modern Ultima would look like? Exactly like DA.

The Ultima games have also had space wars, and in Ultima VIII you are dropped into a world and have to summon demons in order to get out. Not sure if those are in Dragon Age.

All the shit I saw/read about this game makes me never want to play it even if it went on sale. Bioware has become a B tier developer, Anthem doesn't look great either, probably more polished but lacks soul.

It's a god damn shame we can't have a nice story driven, space adventure scifi game anymore.

This is so sad. The game was really good. A solid 8/10 at launch, and likely better now with the patches.

I put nearly 100 hours in to it on single player alone.

Poor form EA/Bioware.

This. I actually thought it was a pretty big improvement from ME2 and ME3. Had it not been for the stupid facial animations, we would potentially see it as GOTY condendor. But EA doesn't give second chances often (Dead Space 3 as an example). Hopefully they'll be willing to reboot it in 5-6 years once the memory of Andromeda is gone, but I have my doubts.

I agree with you. I had a ton of fun with Andromeda. I finished the single player campaign five times. I'd probably go through it some more but since the game franchise is probably dead.....I don't see the point now.

Good, more time to work on better games.
