I already have a pro controller and I assume its identical except for the color. As such, its an amazing controller. Feels great, responds great, long-life battery... really have no complaints.

 

Edit: I actually forgot I had one complaint. Lack of headphone jack. This should have been there as people will likely being playing docked and there is a need for headphones when docked. Even if there was still forced usage of smartphone app for chat, having a headphones only jack would have been useful.

1. Best in class force feedback
2. Longest life controller battery (ignoring WiiU's pro-controller)
3. Built-in best in class motion (great for shooting games)
4. Built-in NFC

What is a real mind-boggler isn't the price of this superior controller but that the Xbox One controller costs the same as PS4 even though it has no battery included. That is the actual con-artist of controllers.

Its also $68 or $70 normally.

And that's exactly why they're doing it. As long as people don't mind being ripped off, companies will keep doing it.

Oh and while you are at it, please put some microtransactions in Splatoon 2 (reasonable ones).
