what do you expect from this game? 10 days til release both version will have good sales, where i think the ps4 version will be the leader. i will go with 900k for the ps4 version and 750k for the 3ds version..

I'll go 800K PS4, 1.2 Million 3DS. People don't realize that 3DS is more popular than PS4 in Japan and has more of an install base. It really has no chance to beat the 3DS Version. Sure, Amazon has the PS4 version winning right now but as a Dragon Quest fan who has followed the series and sales for some time, there's a very slim chance for the PS4 version, as beautiful as it is and is my choice of game, will beat the 3DS version.

PS4 DQXI: 1.2 Million

3DS DQXI: 1 Million

DQXI total first week: 2.2 Million

Ps4 version outselling 3DS version at launch would be the shock of the decade. I'll go with 1m 3DS and 850k ps4 just retail. With digital both will be higher obviously.

3DS - 100k below or above the PS4 version (I don't know what to expect from it)

Believe it or not, 3DS games with high points on COMG usually have bad ratios and is the opposite for PS4 games.

My original prediction was terrible.

I assumed the 3DS version would just take off considering 1. It's DQXI and 2. 3DS has a 21m+ install base.

However COMG leads me to believe a different story, so my new prediction is:

PS4 950k
3DS 850k

Remember FFXV had 480pts and that became 690k FW, DQXI on track to hit around 750pts PS4 and 670pts 3DS.
