Our raiding window is closed though. People on the West Coast are getting 5 star raids now.

Dang, that's insane. I don't know if we have that many active people in my area.

Well, despite what I said before I managed to catch every legendary released so far. Joining a raid group made it a lot easier to do. It's funny that all 3 birds I caught on my 2nd attempt, why Lugia was my 1st or 2nd toss. I don't remember anymore...

No group, no luck. Tried a bit with Articuno, simply no luck at all because there were never enough participants. At best, there were five interested participants (including me), but that was in a busy area on a busy day after a good while of waiting. Two of them didn't participate in the end, probably because they thought it was too few people. Raids are miserable if you don't have a group, and legendaries only amplify the problem. I might join a group but I haven't found one (although there probably are around here), and I don't use WhatsApp anyway so that's probably a problem even if I find one. This is some really bad design on Niantic's side: Good for really active players but sucks for a lot of other players. Maybe it's better in huge cities though? I mean, I live in one of my country's biggest cities, but it's pretty small on a global scale.

If you have high lvl players, you can get by on legendary raids with 8 people. I've done it a few times already. Probably the best way is to join a group on facebook or something. Maybe there is one in your area.

I don't have a Facebook account, and googling for a group hasn't really shown any results anyway. I'd probably have to talk to other players out there to find a group, but I don't seem to run into them too often and I'm not that social anyway. :P

Well, if you happen to see any legendaries around town, chances are you may see a group show up. That tends to happen whenever I find one. Good luck to your legendary raids
