Yesterday, the Japanese Nintendo Store received a new Switch stock, which went completely out of print in just seven minutes. We do not know how many units have available at Nintendo's online store, but at the moment the console is still sold-out and not available for purchase.

Nintendo Switch has sold over a million pieces in Japan since launch, lack of inventory and constant supplies is becoming a problem in the country, where demand is still high. The Kyoto home is working to increase production and improve distribution even in view of the launch of major titles such as Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got 10 million a year just from Japan.

I saw three units in my local store yesterday (Small town btw). I can't help but think that maybe I should buy them and sell them to the Japanese, with some markup of course muhahahaha (jk).

Nintendo really need to get their shit together. Since launch I have seen less than 10 units in stock overall in all the stores I've visited.

Easier said then done.. the have to compete with Apple for some of the part in the Switch and saldy Nintendo have no chance against Apple

I had to line for an hour in new York, at Nintendo World, just to get one. It seems like they don't care if there's demand. They want people to line and that's free propaganda for them, you know, the item everyone wants that is out of stock...
