On other side of that coin, they can mislead people with their ideas because they're backed up by influence/popularity and not by their soundness of their opinions/arguements. If they present an informative opinion on something, by all means have at it but if it's half-baked hyperbole, they should just keep their mouth shut. If they say something dumb or not well thought-out, they're taking a chance, it could ruin their career by drastically altering their fans' perception of them. |
It is a double-edged sword. Honestly up to the person to choose.
Just wish Labeouf didn't break down. I thought he had a lot of potential to be in more movies
I remember him getting arrested in a similar manner in the Austin Area as well.

Is this (the bolded part) considered a problem in the US? I can understand it being a problem with children present, but women too? |
Is the italic part not protected by the first amendment...
The police usually have better things to do than clean up vomit from the back of the car, he must have been really drunk and deangerous or it's bragging rights to take in a celebrity! Yet perhaps the police are really strict on public intoxication in the US, dunno.

It's a huge problem across our planet. Women are precious, pure beings who shouldn't be exposed to such acts. They have to be protected at all costs and the US considers it a crime to show women any part of the real world.

I'm not American so I don't know, but I would imagine it's like you say.
Somewhat curiously, public intoxication is not a crime here in Finland as far as I know. I always found it curious how it's a crime in some countries.
