The son of Vegeta is here !

*VGC admin joins the party*

Why yes, I am here. I created TrunksWD as an account when I was just 12. Future Trunks was my favorite DBZ character at the time and I used my initials, WD, as I didn't want numbers in my name.

I recently introduced my 5 year old son to DBZ, he instantly became obsessed with it and we're now about halfway through Kai. Vegeta & Trunks are his favorites and I think he might have a crush on Android 18 lol.

I was hoping to show him Dragon Ball first but i don't want him seeing the nudity and its impossible to find the edited version anymore so I've just shown him random clips of some of the fights online.

Fun fact: every Nintendo 64 game ever released could fit on a single Switch game card

Fun fact: I'd buy that game card in a heartbeat!

I imagine a lot of people would haha.

Licensing issues mean it'll never happen officially, but as the homebrew scene develops I wouldn't be surprised if some enterprising tech wiz makes it reality.

At least, Xenoblade is tracking high here in Canada and probably is in the US too. Do we know any results early launch for it ?

It took #1 in the UK with double the original launch on the Wii and just below XBC2's launch numbers, Video game retailers are still closed here so I imagine it with digital it's higher than XBC2 overall.

The Outer Worlds on Switch will get all the same DLC as the other versions:

While playing bravely default 2 demo, I got an Octopath traveler vibe. Definitely gonna buy that game. Anyone knows if it will have a physical release?

Of course it will have a physical release. The game will cost at least $50.

I'm gonna get the physical for sure

Because Asano's Team worked on both and also the main artist doing the pictures as well.

That's may be the reason why I feel the similitudes.

I picked up TM#FE to fill my RPG needs. Pretty impress for far ( à la Persona 5 lite)

So, I played the original Paper Mario 64 and recently finished it.
At my first attempt, I thought it was very similar to TTYD, but now my opinion have changed.

While TTYD may still be my favorite PM game, I can't unsee how much IS copy-pasted from the original one: number and in some cases even the structure of chapters, partners, abilities, scenes, and at some point even assets.

Now I value a lot more games like Super Paper Mario and Color Splash. It would be boring to keep playing the same game.
This is the same fear I have with BotW2, and hopefully it is not way to similar to the first one.

I some what agree if you played the original the second game while great reused a significant bit from it I think a lot of people joined the series with the second game so to them the series just changed so rapidly.

The thing with BOTW is the much higher complexity in depth compared to PM, gameplay in BOTW is so customizable that the same approach in the sequel wouldn't really lead to the same type of experience as with sandbox gameplay you tend to add elements to work in tandem with returning elements this in turn adds a lot more customization to how you can play which is why GTA is so consistently successful. An example of what i mean is players in BOTW are afforded the freedom to do things like the below in new playthroughs meaning each time you play can be significantly different.
