Has everyone seen the "leaked" photos of the N64 Classic???

Have a nice day...

That's quite a recruitment call from Takahashi. I am particularly intrigued by his desire to really try and find a character designer that will be THE character designer for Monolith Soft moving forward. Apparently they didn't have one in Xenoblade, with Akinobu Yamakawa and Tadahiro Usuda perhaps contributing. In X they worked with Kunihiko Tanaka. And in 2 they went with Masatsugu Saito and Tetsuya Nomura along with a host of guest artists. So this is the first time they've really pursued having a dedicated guy who will really be a part of Monolith Soft. Could be interesting.

Where?

It's making the rounds on Instagram...

There isn't any evidence that it's actually real...

If it's real, they made a really weird design choice for the controller ports...

Does that mean we won't be doing generic cliche anime style again? I know people like it, but I'm just not a fan.

Xenoblade 2 had WAY better character design than the first one. Shulk and co looked like shovelware from the ps1...

What style would rather they used?

Not that one!

Sounds like you're talking graphics rather than style.

Not really. The characters in XCX looked awful as well.

Anyone play Child of Light before? How is it? I've heard some good things, now that it's on Switch was somewhat interested in getting it.

I got the Wii U version ages ago and just started playing it. I'm a couple of hours into it and it's pretty good so far. The battle system is simple and quite decent, though it can feel slow if you use certain features a lot (which I tend to do ). Visually it's an absolutely gorgeous game with beautiful environments and are really charming character design. Storywise it has been a mixed experience so far. The overall story is decent and I actually like that everything is told in rhymes as I believe it perfectly fits the game, but unfortunately the actual dialogue isn't that great.

Which is why Elma looks so much better in XC2 now :)

I like the artstyle that each game goes for, but I have to really disagree with anyone saying that Elma looks better with 2's style.
