Even though it was bundled, it was also considered one of the best games of this generation. I reckon almost everyone who picks up a PS4 would like to try this game.

No, not dismiss.  But obviously, it wouldn't have sold as much without being bundled.  

Wii Sports had sales of about 3.7 million in Japan, where it was never bundled (to my knowledge).  That's about a 38% attach rate.  So, if it wasn't bundled, we could have expected sales in the neighborhood of 40 million.  Which would have still made it the best selling SKU of all time, although the different SKUs of GTA V probably would have combined for more.

This is true.  It's why the "best selling games of all-time" lists some people brag about mean so little to me, especially when so many of them came with the system regardless.  I'm supposed to take a list with Duck Hunt seriously?  No, thanks.  I owned that game because I had no choice and there is no way in hell I would have bought it as a stand-alone.  Same with Super Mario Bros., actually, which I had already played at a friend's house and didn't much like.

Still, I don't care if people celebrate the sales of a modern game that's been partially bundled.  It's when they start to compare those sales that it turns kind of meaningless.

That is BS. There is a wide gap between the numbers of Wii (u) und ps4 bundles. Whereas nearly every major release gets bundled with PS4, first and third, official and unofficial, soft and hardware, all the Wii (U) got are some obligatory Nintendo games that can be counted on one hand.

Comparing PS4 exclusives and Nintendo exclusives is quite misleading, because Nintendo consoles are usually bought for Nintendo exclusive games, while PS4 has much more games than Nintendo. Nintendo users usually doesn't have many other options to play.
