I hoped to have that game on the WiiU, with all the unique possibilities the GamePad could bring to the game, and it didn't happen.

I doubt they'll make a new one, and even if they do, it won't be anytime soon.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Diddy Kong racing and Mario strikers are missing.

Sadly I do think you're right. They probably though the market wasn't there any longer. While EO might be a "casual" game it still was far from shovelware though, so I think it would have a fair chance of doing ok. But alas it looks like they wanted to make mobile games instead :/

I honestly wouldn't call the EO games as casual, they were just different than the usual frantic games we see on the market. I did enjoy both of them on the Wii for their slow pace and wonderful (even in SD) underwater settings, and I really wantedto see what they could do in HD.

But I don't really think it is the kind of game that could be enjoyed on the go, which is an important aspect of the Switch.
