June 2nd marks the first time the Amazonian warrior princess gets her own big budget feature film!

I know people had mixed feelings about Batman vs. Superman, but I liked Wonder Woman in it and hopig this makes a great stand alone after watching the other two parts of the trinity get 6 (Superman) and 7 (Batman) major solo live action adaptations at this point. Based on what I've seen reminds me of a mix between Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger with two worlds, magic, and a period piece.  I'm pumped and wanted to post about it here in terms of impressions and how the movie performed.

It's that close to release? I didn't even know that. I know that my mom's really excited for this movie, but I haven't been following it at all.

June 1st or 2nd in majority of countries, and then a couple others later on, see release schedule above.

Hmm, I'm surprised that there's not a lot of reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, then, as I guess it premiered weeks ago.

I want it to be good. I really do.

But I'm not expecting much. If I had to predict a score, I'd say 2 or 2.5 stars out of 4. I will say I'm super excited to see Robin Wright :)

By the way, the 2009 DCAU Wonder Woman is really good. I highly recommend that one.

I'll probably see it at some point, though not sure when. Whether I go see it at the cinema or not depends on the reviews it gets. The trailers certainly look promising, but that's not exactly the most reliable indicator of a film's quality.

Agree on that, have enjoyed her portrayal in animated forms through Justice League series as well.

Also Robin Wright looks great in promotional material.

Depends on the reviews. I've been burned by the DCEU in three times in a row, now. I'm not gonna bother with this one if the reviews don't at least point to an okay movie.

Robin Wright makes everything better :D

And totally agree about Justice League. She and Batman were co-MVPs.
