Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Switch- before and now

We've had enough time to get comfortable with the Switch. What are your opinions on it?

I personally love it. I enjoy playing games on the go, so having such a unique device is something i'll always appreciate. I find myself playing my other consoles less as I play on the Switch in handheld mode. I've returned my copy of Xenoverse 2 on XBO so i can play it on the Switch. If a Naruto game where to be ported, I'd probably get it too.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Switch. It deserves a lot of respect. The Ps4 and Switch have made this year great

It is my favorite console since the GBA hardware wise. I have already committed to buying all my multiplatform games for Switch. I bought anything visually appealing or familiar on GBA/PS1/PS2 and Switch has me feeling the same way.

i don't like playing it in handheld mode, for me the shoulder buttons feel awkward in that mode.
I found myself accidentally hitting shoulder buttons I did not intend to while playing Zelda, likewise the analog stick buttons are too easy to press, many times while doing tests of strength link would crouch mid-fight because the analog stick depressed too easily.

other than that its okay i guess?, the whole dock and play thing isn't all that impressive to me as ive been doing it with pc games and my android tablet, (though, via streaming), for years, and the switches low battery life puts me off actually taking it anywhere there will not be a power source anyway.

I'm enjoying it, I do very much need more content, but I know like my PS4 before it I have to wait.

First I was bummed out due to only having zelda as the only game to play and the switch being quite pricey. And the 3 hour battery didn't exactly wow me either. Now I am starting to really fall in love with it. While I hate holding the joycons individually and think they are really uncomfortable holding one side ways, there is something to be said when you can go to the doctor and play mario kart 8 with ur sister while you wait. It is truly an amazing experience and we also had a power outtage where we played zelda.

The more I use it, the more wowed I get. From buying the Switch only cause my sister wanted it and zelda getting a rape rating to being really glad I got it on day 1. I think they really hit a home run with this (having some issues aside of course)

I have never played one or even seen one. But the games look good, and when buying a console that's what matters to me! I hope that E3 will show off a lot of games that I'll want to get.

The Switch is a slick piece of hardware. I'm having a blast with it. It didn't win me over like the Wii U did yet. Yea I said it, the Wii U. The second screen was amazing for games that actually made use of it. Switch handheld is awesome though playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. If the Switch game library can top the Wii U, it can be my favorite console in about two years. I'm still waiting to see what Nintendo is trying to do with its online with Switch. I'm not to happy about paying for online.

My favorite console... perfect partner for my PC

34 years playing games.

I seem to enjoy it now more than when I first got it.

The best handheld ever.I just never get to use it outside, I have no idea how people even play it on the go.
I suppose it depends on your everyday lifestyle.
