Shadowcat said: I don't worship Thor or Ares but I can still appreciate the artwork and gameplay. I don't worship Allah either but Islamic artwork can be quite beautiful. The dogma of any religion supresses people for power of the leaders. Islam is the worst set of bad ideas that people blindly follow, not unlike Christianity was many centuries ago. The only difference is that Christianity was REFORMED whereas Islam is still stuck in its archaic state. I feel sorry for the majority of Muslims who are repressed by their religion.

You really have no clue about Islam or Muslims beyond what you see on TV, do you?
1. Allah = "The God" (al = the, lah = god) and is literally the same God as Jews / Christians worship. You may disagree on rules, etc (as you do with Jews as well) but you are worshipping Allah as well as other more Christian centric ideas.
2. Islam is not "still stuck in its arcaic state". Islamic ideas, freedoms, science and practices during Christian worlds Dark Ages is one of the foundational reasons Christianity was reformed and found its Renaissance (see history of Islamic Empire and especially Spain). The countries where Islamic tradition have been forced into a more brutal, extreamist view of the world only became a thing in the 1700's with the rise of Wahhabism (originating in Saudi). For the 1,000 years before that, Islam had many instances of what we'd consider freedom of religion, science, social justice, etc. Aside from Wahhabism, the other big shift was largely the fault of Western powers and their push for imperialism and colonialism. That drove many Islamic nations to be as anti-west as they could be and that meant further divide in the form of religious adherence.
3. You are right that Islam needs a reformation. It needs strong guidance to undo the impact of extreamism and anti-west influences. But none of that is due any fault at the root of the Qur'ans teachings - just as the Dark Ages were not caused by the root of the Bible's teachings. They are both the result of men forcing their power and personal / twisted thoughts on others.
4. I don't think its accurate to say anyone is repressed by their religion. That is a falsehood taught by western media. However, a large number of people are repressed by their nation's leadership, including religious leadership who is pushing extreamism. Muslims who leave these nations do not have this issue, demonstrating it is not "their religion" but their social acceptance of Wahhabism.
