Why does everyone forget Future Tone? It's the greatest rhythm game ever made and it's a PS4 exclusive.

2 remakes, 2 PS3 ports and a game that's also on PC.... Other than HZD and Nioh (which are both great games), this list of 'exclusives' isn't very impressive.

Added! That is if you mean Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone?

I did mean Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, yes.

All in all, I don't mean to sound fanboyish, but at this point 2017 is amazing.
Truth be told, you could make a case for why you didn't have a PS4 up until the end of 2016.
At this point, there is no reason why any gamer shouldn't have a PS4 even for the exclusives alone.

Since when did Persona become a PS3 port?

MLB, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone (I think), and Gravity Rush 2 are also completely new games only on PS4

To be honest, I'm still not sure whether getting a PS4 was a good idea. I've had a ton of fun with it, sure, but I'm not sure if it's still enough for how much it still cost. There's just not that many exclusives I care about. And in general, if someone doesn't find the exclusives interesting enough, that's more than enough reason to not get a PS4.

Yup, another one of those xD

Are you talking about GarlandSteve's confessing his love for PlayStation again or another "PlayStation is the dogs bullocks" thread.

Makes no sense when you realise they'll be putting all those games on PC soon.

Looking at the games listed in the OP, aside that Nier is already on PC, I would think maybe Nioh would make it to PC later.  But as for the rest I really don't see them going onto PC.

As I think about it more, perhaps I was being a bit hyperbolic. In truth, the biggest problem for the PS4 exclusive lineup is that many of the best PS4 games are for the hardcore genre. Bloodborne, Nioh, and Persona 5 just aren't going to get mass appeal (Atlus games are not only extremely text heavy, but also significantly more difficult than your standard JRPG, even if the Persona series is a bit easier than the main SMT series).

I got Gravity Rush 2,Yakuza 0,Nier Automata as new games this year then I added some 2016 games this year with Digimon Cyber Sleuth and Caladrious Blaze. Been an awesome year for me for me and my PS4. Just remember it's now how you start but how you finish. (see PS3 life cycle). So let's see what PS4 has to offer Q3/4. Switch looks to have a very good Q3/4.
