Perhaps it was or wasn't but I think alternine is convinced it was real. That said, I am very much interested in alternine's answer to my question. I'll just be waiting patiently for an answer.

Man, Breath of the Wild must be really affecting people that don't like Nintendo, they are freaking out all around making jab threads and trying to downplay the game on every discussion about it.

Wait....I am curious but what is so revolutionary about BoTW? I have not played it yet because I am waiting to buy the Switch. I mean from the reviews and gameplay I have seen it looks AMAZING. And I can't wait to play it but why do you say it is revolutionary? 

Also why would Super Mario Odyssey be the only  other serious contentder? Why would no other game be able to be one outside of it?

Difference is it isnt my JOB to review games. And for the record I didn't have framerate issues playing MP3. So theres that lol

And perhaps reviewers also didn't have any framerate issues playing Breath of the Wild?

BotW is amazing, butt I think my vote would go for Nier, so far, butt we'll see, butt it is early in the year

Seriously, this game just keeps getting better the more I play it. I play it in like 4-5 hour sessions without even realizing how much time has passed - which is like unheard of for me. Unless it's an online multiplayer game I'm really into (Gears/Overwatch), I usually can't go over an hr without feeling like I need to put it down and either play a different game or do something else. 

Minecraft was probably the last time I was this addicted to a single player game back in 2011 when the game was still in its alpha stage.
