Forums - Gaming Discussion - this is why the open world of breath of the wild is special.

Beyond the whole choices affect the world forever and what not, this game really feels like what Fable promised us back 13 years ago.

From an interaction stand point Horizon doesn't compare to Breath Of The Wild.

Not surprising, Nintendo doesn't develop games with super hd graphics but they're known for the small details.

definitely where they excell. I'm not trying to take anything away from HZD which is a technical marvel in its own right.

Games are fun.

By comparison, Horizon looks like a very beautiful, soulless game. At least based on what that video shows.

I'm a Nintendo fanboy. Always have been. Take my opinion with a grain of salt but Zelda feels like the greatest open world since GTAV. Maybe even better than that. The more you look, the more you find. If you think "I wonder if...", the odds are pretty good that you can. This world is alive. I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of Skyrim/Zelda but it's going to be hard going back. I feel like I haven't even begun to do everything I can in Zelda.

Not sure how long it will be before I play anything else. I'm totally okay with that.

dam horizon looks aamzing. im gonna research it see if its worth a try
