yeah I agree, the Ocarina track sounds better. Simplicity is sometimes best, it's understated too whereas the BotW sounds like too much going on at once

hopefully it's a grower

Yes but the music in OOT is basically the Beethoven of gaming. It's never going to be topped.

I think some soundtracks are more tailored to listening to out of context and some are better in context. I wouldn't listen to that battle theme out of the game, but I can totally see myself getting hype fighting to that music in game.

its probably better in the actual game. i remeber a lot of people disliked Xenoblade Chronicles X's soundtrack but when in context of the game, it actually fit quite well

Yeah wow, I don't like that at all...Which is a shame because I normally love Zelda music.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Nothing can beat OoT soundtrack 😎

Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda!!!!

Finally they changed that music it's about time

I personally prefer the one from BOTW to the ones from OoT and WW posted here.

I have heard many songs that are probably equal to or greater than OOT. It's still amazing though

I don't think it is a mess per say considering you're probably in an open environment where you're hopping around a lot more, rather than say in Ocarina of Time, where the battle music might be taking place in a dark dungeon more often

that said, like others have mentioned, it is believed the battle music may change depending on what region you're

I will say though that anyone expecting Breath of the Wild to have music and soundtrack on the level of Ocarina of Time are being unrealistic, that game in my opinion has the greatest soundtrack music of any game ever (even outside of Zelda)
