Well I'll be damned. I absolutely expected stellar reviews but I did not foresee this. Too bad I have way too much to do right now to have time to play. 😭 #fuckmylife

I expected 92-95 range, 98 is pretty damned ridiculous. I'm really wishing my friend had sold me his Wii U now, as I had hoped he would. 

I guessed 96 but really wanted to say 98, so I feel a little bad now. That being said, if the 98+ score sticks, I'm more curious to see how the user score will pan out because outside of OoT, all user scores on metactric for 98+ games are under 9.

Honestly, at this point I'm just waiting for someone to give it a 7 or 8, and watch a bunch of people get furious about the metascore going down by one point.

Wow, amazing score! I thought the game was going to be excellent but i wasn't expecting this. of course the score could still drop, but a very good start!

Holy bonkers that's high. I hope that this isn't simply a case of "too big to fail", so review outlets are skewing scores higher on the spectrum artificially. Still, good news that it's rocking a Metacritic score this high :)

These scores are forum fodder, an excuse to talk about something on these forums.

GTA 5 taught me rave reviews doesn't mean a good game so I'm looking forward to the only score that matters: my own.

I have a faith in Nintendo quality. On other hand its possible some websites will give it much lower scores for clickbait, just like they've done it with Horizon Zero Dawn.
