And you san't say single SKU because that doesn't break it down between PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro.

The ps4 standard not including the Pro outsold the 3DS last year. First time since ps2 in 2004.

Ps4 standard and ps4 slim are 2 different models though. So you have to seperate them.

Instead of moving goal post you post that smh. Anyway you cut it ps4 and ps4 slim are seperate sku's so my answer still stands.

Tbone and SpokenTruth has a good point. Did they seperate the 3DS SKU like this?
- 3DS
-3DSXL
- 2DS
- New3DS
- New3DSXL

If they did then the PS4 should be
- PS4
- PS4 Slim
- PS4 Pro

Ps4 and slim are counted as the same sku. Slim is just the standard model replacing the old standard. Pro is an upgraded sku.

PS4 had a historical victory in 2016. First home comsole since ps2 in 2004. I'm so happy :)

Ya, pretty much, but they don't because home consoles are typically treated differently than handhelds. Because the difference between Slim and PS4 is the exact same 3DS and 3DS XL in my book.

Yeah and ps4 pro is similar to n3ds (an upgrade in specs).

 

Also estimated sales for ps4 is around 820k and slim sku did alot more with holiday 980k. 2ds i didnt take the time to see but n3ds ll sold over 1mil (well over 1.4mil at least) as the best selling sku. Regular 3ds discontinued and 3ds ll stopped being tracked this year.

 

Also missing 100k 2ds from feb pokemon rbgy release.

In the end it truthfully doesn't matter, both sides will use the data they want to brag about whatever, user base is still user base and that is what will matter, not which SKU does what, is smaller/bigger and which SKU can play something better.
